The TMS rack is the best bang for the buck, for those looking for a simple easy to install rack designed just for holding a Roof Top Tent. The HOBBS Freedom Mid-Height Rack is unique because HOBBS makes a mounting bracket that works with some Tonneau covers (Brackets sold separately). Tonneau Covers are really nice for keeping gear, accessories, and everything else you keep in the black of your Gladiator safe and clean. However many racks do not work with Tonneau covers so if you are looking to run one this is the perfect rack for you. It’s made in the USA and has a 300lb dynamic load rating and 600lb static load rating. Like the other racks mentioned it is a perfect fit for carrying a Roof Top Tent.

One of the key downsides of adding a bed rack is that it can limit how you use the bed of your Gladiator as they typically run the entire length and are only a few feet higher. This makes putting tall cargo in the back hard. That is why we like the Truck Bed Cargo Carrier from Hooke Road. The basket is 38inches long and 20 inches wide which does limit just how much it will carry but means it will not take up the entire bed. You can easily stack cargo or a cooler on the rack and still utilize your bed to carry a dirt bike or other gear.

The Nutzo Gladiator Rack is one of the most expensive options on the market. What makes it special is the ability to attach their cargo storage boxes on the side of the rack. These storage boxes are weatherproof and offer a great storage solution for commonly used products that you want quick access to. If you do not plan to use the storage boxes then we would suggest going with a less expensive rack that will offer similar static and dynamic load numbers. However, their modular setup along with the storage boxes offer so many great loadout setups.

The Addictive Desert Designs Overland Rack makes the list for a couple of key reasons. First, it is one of the only racks that actually gives weight specs for the sides.
