Having increased towing capacity, increased carrying capacity and the storage provided by a truck bed are just a few of the things to get excited about. Jeep Wranglers have limited storage space. The JLU has just 31.7 cubic feet of storage space in the trunk. However, the Gladiator bed offers 35.5 feet and that just includes to the top of the bed. 4 extra feet goes a long way and that measurement only accounts for the top of the bed. Built in the USA out of heavy-duty 12 gauge steel, it's strong and durable. It can handle up to 500lbs of static weight and can handle up to 300lbs of dynamic weight. This means it is more than capable of carrying your Roof Top Tent along with several key accessories. 3. TMS 2 Bar Sport Bar: Best bang for the buck. Under $300. The TMS rack is the best bang for the buck, for those looking for a simple easy to install rack designed just for holding a Roof Top Tent. It is super inexpensive and can hold up to 800lbs, which is fantastic. It requires no drilling and is easy to install. It also has a rear window protector that will help keep that rear glass safe from items shifting around in the bed of the Gladiator. It is important to point out that it is not designed to accept accessories. So if you want to mount your traction boards or other accessories it will take some fabrication to create mounts. 4. Fishbone Offroad Half Tackle Rack: $839.99 at Extreme Terrain. Jeeps are pretty much rectangles with wheels which makes them very un aerodynamic. So it is no surprise that many of us are looking for ways to minimize that issue even while adding aftermarket accessories. If you are looking for a rack that will allow you to mount a Roof Top Tent but have the top of the tent flush with the top of the Gladiator you will love the Fishbone Offroad Half Tackle Rack. It can be installed using the factory bed rail system or using clamps. It can also safely support up to 500lbs and can easily accept accessories on the side. 5. Rebel Off-Road XPLOR: $899.99-$1199.99 depending on the configuration. The Rebel Off-Road XPLOR rack is one of the most modular when it comes to accessories. Included in the basic package are 4 carrier plates for mounting your favorite accessories. Rebel Off-Road has also worked hard developing mounting brackets, plates, or braces for almost any accessory. This makes it a very modular setup that you can design to suit your needs. 6. The HOBBS Freedom Rack: Available at Quadratec $730+ The HOBBS Freedom Mid-Height Rack is unique because HOBBS makes a mounting bracket that works with some Tonneau covers (Brackets sold separately). Tonneau Covers are really nice for keeping gear, accessories, and everything else you keep in the black of your Gladiator safe and clean. However many racks do not work with Tonneau covers so if you are looking to run one this is the perfect rack for you. It's made in the USA and has a 300lb dynamic load rating and 600lb static load rating. Like the other racks mentioned it is a perfect fit for carrying a Roof Top Tent. 7. Hooke Road Gladiator Bed Cargo Rack: Check Prize On Amazon One of the key downsides of adding a bed rack is that it can limit how you use the bed of your Gladiator as they typically run the entire length and are only a few feet higher. This makes putting tall cargo in the back hard. That is why we like the Truck Bed Cargo Carrier from Hooke Road. The basket is 38inches long and 20 inches wide which does limit just how much it will carry but means it will not take up the entire bed. You can easily stack cargo or a cooler on the rack and still utilize your bed to carry a dirt bike or other gear. 8. NutShell Nutzo Gladiator Rack: $1,900-$2,500 The Nutzo Gladiator Rack is one of the most expensive options on the market. What makes it special is the ability to attach their cargo storage boxes on the side of the rack. These storage boxes are weatherproof and offer a great storage solution for commonly used products that you want quick access to. If you do not plan to use the storage boxes then we would suggest going with a less expensive rack that will offer similar static and dynamic load numbers. However, their modular setup along with the storage boxes offer so many great loadout setups. 9. ADD Offroad Overland Rack: $1,670 at ET. The Addictive Desert Designs Overland Rack makes the list for a couple of key reasons. First, it is one of the only racks that actually gives weight specs for the sides.
