The only thing better than cruising around in a Jeep with the top off soaking in the summer is doing it with your trusty K9 side kick. Few things go better together than dogs and Jeeps and that's why we have put together our list of 7 accessories every Jeep owner needs for their dog. 1: Pet Cargo Liner: If you are like us we take our dog with us everywhere! Which means when she sheds it is just building up on the seats or rear cargo area. That's why the top accessory on our list is a pet cargo linger. There are a bunch of liners out there on the market but we like the CCJK Pet liner the best. Key benefits: Protects: The interior of your Jeep from collecting insane amounts of pet hair. It also protects the rear cargo area and rear seat from getting damaged from your dogs paws and teeth. Easy to remove: With just a few clips you can quickly remove the liner for those times when you do not need it or plan to use the rear cargo area for something other than transporting your pup. Easy to clean: The heavy duty oxford fabric is easy to vacuum and wash off which helps keep the hair from building up. 2. Collapsible Pet Ramp: Whether you have a senior pup, a big pup or one too small to jump into the back of your Jeep a collapsible pet ramp is exactly what you need. The Kurgo Wander collapsible ramp has a non-slip surface that keeps the ramp cool and gives your dog all of the traction it will need to make it up the steep ramp into your Jeep. Jumping in and out of your Jeep can be hard on your pups joints especially as they get older which is why this is a perfect setup for lifted Jeeps. It can carry up to 200 pounds yet is super light weighing in at only 15 pounds. 3. Dog Seat Belt Harness: You do not go anywhere without wearing a seat-belt so why do you let your dog? They simply connect to the roll bars and and floor to create a strong divider between you and your pup. We not only love having one of these for our dog but they help you keep gear in the rear storage area when you have to stack things pretty high. Easy to install and durable once you have one in place you will love it! We also find the webbing great for hooking things on to hanging gear bags and other supplies. 5. Cargo Liner: Whether you cannot use a full cargo liner or just want extra protection a custom fit rubber replacement liner is perfect for pet owners. The stock carpet cargo liner that comes with your Jeep from the dealer is a hair magnet. If you have a dog and have had it in the back you know just how bad it can get and fast. The rubber aftermarket liner keeps the rear cargo of your area clean and dry. It keeps hair from getting rubbed deep into the carpet and is really easy to vacuum out. Jeep Cargo Kennel If your dog likes the comfort that comes from a nice comfy enclosed Kennel or they are just a bit to rowdy to roam free in the cargo area a Cargo is just what you need. You can use a basic plastic Kennel if you would like but we really like the Rugged Ridge Canine Cube. It has a heavy-duty weave construction that makes it super strong but lighter than traditional standard carriers. It also comes with a unique suspension system that attaches to your roll cage to while up but can also lay flat when not in use. This is perfect for saving space when your dog is not with you and easy to deploy when in transport. Center Console Cover: The center console in a Jeep takes a ton of abuse especially if you have a dog in your rig often. The constant jumping from the backseat into the front or just hanging out in-between the seats can put a lot of wear on your center console. Luckily there a bunch of aftermarket center console covers that no only protect the soft stock center console but they look great too.
