7. Tire Pressure Gauge: Having a simple tire pressure gauge in the glove box will come in handy on a regular basis. Whether you are checking the pressure as you air down or you are helping out with a road side tire repair you need one of these.

8. Tire Pressure Deflator: If you are looking to do some real wheeling airing down your tires is a must. It will not only give you better traction out on the trail, but you will have a much smoother ride. 9. Long Handled Lug Wrench: If you are running aftermarket wheels it’s very possible your stock lug wrench is not long enough to reach your lug nuts. Before buying one of these we suggest checking your stock setup to see if it will work with your aftermarket wheels. If not these are a must have, nothing more annoying than having a spare tire handy but unable to change it due to your aftermarket wheels.

10. Repair Manual: Having a repair manual handy is a life saver when making a repair on the trail that requires a specific torque setting. Not only can they guide you through repairs it will help ensure you have tightened down suspension component to the right specs. If carrying a big manual is to much we suggest putting together a simple spreadsheet or notes document on your phone with the most common specs for easy reference.

12. Rubber Mallet:
No Jeep toolkit can be considered complete without a rubber mallet. It’s not uncommon for parts to need a little pressure to separate. Hitting them with a traditional hammer can cause permanent damage to critical components. 20. MacGyver Set: While not an official tool having some electrical tape, duct tape, JB weld and some high quality zip ties can go a long way. Whether you are just looking to temporarily secure a broken part or need to plug a leak until you can get a replacement part you will find all of these to be very helpful when in a pinch.

23. Breaker Bar
